From the collection of Graham and Joan James
Our earliest Crisp ancestor married in Lowestoft in 1717. Where he came from has yet to be established. Tracing his line down to more modern times has been fascinating and includes a distant link to Tom Crisp, the brave trawler skipper who won the Victoria Cross.
We continue to collect references to this name both in Lowestoft and throughout East Anglia.
